Choosing whether to get married or not is something that all men will probably think about at some point in their lives. And while I am in favor of eventually marrying and of family there are certainly some things that need to be addressed before one goes rushing into marriage. First off understanding that marriage now is not what marriage was in our grandparents generation and that finding a woman who will actually be viable for marriage is more of a challenge now than ever before. Likewise finding a man who is man enough to keep a marriage going and lead it (even with a good woman) is getting rarer and rarer to find as well.
A good woman with good morals is just as rare as a masculine man who knows how to be a man, take charge, and lead. Males are being pushed to be weak effeminate cucks and women are pushed to be bossy career oriented sluts. However just because society pushes something does not mean that everyone is going to conform to it. However these are things that you have to beware of. As well as all of marriage laws and courts and going to be on the side of the women unless you really know what you are doing or have the best lawyer money can buy. But all that aside there are still things a man needs to do before even considering getting married.
Addressed All Weaknesses
A marriage isn’t going to last if a male has glaring weaknesses that he hasn’t taken care of before hand. For example if a man has not idea how to get money that will always be a strain on the marriage and may end up with it ending. Make sure you can support yourself before bringing on another to support. Also going hand in hand with this, make sure to screen a woman’s finances before considering marrying her. If she has outrageous amounts of debt or other red flags pass on her. You should be able to support yourself no problem before considering starting a family, regardless if it’s of two or four or more.
You can’t be weak as a male either. If you’re effeminate and can’t stand on your own two feet unless you’re woman’s ugly as sin (in which case you shouldn’t have been with her in the first place) she’s going to find another guy who doesn’t show weakness. Have your masculinity in tact and know who you are as a man. Be confident in your strength. Also you should have experience with women. If you don’t know what you’re doing when it comes to women while a woman who has been around the block might marry you because she think’s it’s “cute” (meaning harmless) how naive you are. But will eventually get bored with you and go with a man who isn’t so naive.
Lived A Full Life
I remember a wiser older man telling me when I was in high school something to the extent of “Don’t get married until you’ve banged 30 broads, are at least 35 years old, and have over 300k in the bank”. I’m paraphrasing as it’s been a long time but you get the major point. While I don’t necessarily agree with the specifics about the advice I certainly agree with the principle. You don’t suddenly change when you get married and you’ll miss out on a good chunk of life if you commit too early (even if it’s too a good girl who will make a good wife).
Whatever you want to do, do it before you get married to minimize the risk of screwing things up down the road. For example say a guy’s fantasy is banging a girl of a certain ethnicity, banging a hot mom, or something else (I’ve heard some crazy ones) that’s not going to go away once you get married. Likewise if you want to visit exotic areas or try certain things then do those before you get married. Not because your life is over once married just because it’s easier that way. A man who will be successful as a husband has lots of life experience a woman who will be a good wife has little life experience as we commonly understand it.
How To Make It Work
Marriage can work and be a happy arrangement for all involved. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Whether it’s crazy feminists hellbent on destroying the family or angry bitter “red pill” men telling you that marriage is evil and awful and that women are all evil sluts that are out to get you. Or whatever the latest craze is. You get the point. However to make it works it takes proper preparation and the proper kinds of men and women. It’s not something that you can just rush blindly into and expect for it to workout. There is no hoping in successful marriages.
Only complete men should get married for the best chance of success. A man who has done it all and now wants to go to the next chapter of his life with a woman who is worth it. Not a man who wants validation, who wants easy sex, or for any other reason then he is ready to be the leader of a woman and his family because that is what being a husband entitled. Leading. It’s a lot of responsibility and not something to take lightly for many reasons. Do all that you want to do before considering getting married. Also once you become a complete man you may find you have no desire to get married which is fine to. Either way do everything you want to do before making any decisions.

Men need to look for a girl that comes from traditional values from a home where the dad is the head of the house hold. I can tell you my
daughters have no problem raising their children while their husbands work. It’s how I did it, I worked my wife was a stay a home mom.
That’s a great point, very important.
Men aren’t complete until they are married.
Then they’re finished….
Blue-pill trad-con nonsense.
Marriage is a needless risk, and fails every cost and risk benefit analysis you can throw at it. “Manning up” offers no defense from the divorce meat grinder or the fact her feelz about you can change 2 or 3 years down the road. And the divorce industry (and her divorced girlfriends) will tell her exactly what she need to know to “get back the happy she deserves!”
I also notice a lot of these “man up and get married” people are young men who have yet to be married or be divorced. Very brave to talk about how you’re going to do it right, while half the men out there MUST be doing it wrong.
Ah well, show us how it’s done, brave young squires!
Besides, this is really easy advice to give - and the author is always right.
It the marriage works, he “manned up” properly and was a complete man!
If the marriage fails, he didn’t man up properly and was not a complete man!
Amazing how that works.
